Our Ethos

After 2 years exploring and learning about coffee in New Zealand and Australia. Mike has come back with a mission: to make great coffee accessible in Cumbria and the UK.

Situated in the Eden Valley, Bean & Dunne is about bringing the exciting world of coffee to those deprived of a trendy coffee shop and café around every corner. We hope to make coffee fun and understandable. As we believe there is no right or wrong, as long as it's a good brew for you.

Why we are different

    Bean & Dunne was created with the intention to do good.

    Therefore, this year we are supporting Project Waterfall with 5% of every sale we make. Project Waterfall fund and deliver clean water solutions in coffee producing communities.

    We source through established, reputable suppliers who enable us to trace the coffee we buy to the farm or community processing facilities. Like us, our suppliers are community focused and invest back into the producing countries.

    Our coffee is sourced for top quality from small holder producers. We conduct multiple taste tests throughout the process from sampling to production to maintain standards. We roast to order each week to ensure optimal freshness in every bag.
